It’s perfectly clear to me. But what do you think he is saying?
Drunk Kitty needs to sleep it off
Dude time to sleep it off before you hurt yourself.

How a fellow Urban Tiger deals with Telemarketers
One thing that bugs me is when the phone rings during the day and it is just a telemarketer. These folks constantly call and phone ringing keeps waking me up from my nap.
Here is how one Urban Tiger handles this situation.

Why do humans do these things to us?
For the life of me I can’t understand why humans do things with us, or should I say to us like this:

Here comes 2010
The family invited Grama and Gramps over for a big turkey dinner and then they celebrated New Years Eve by making a lot of noise and shooting streamers into the air.
I loved watching the streamers and confetti fall down from the air and would have chased them, but the boy and girl were getting a little too loud for my liking. So I just watched from down the hallway.
Anyway Happy New Year to all of you out in internet land. I hope the year 2010 is good to you. I’m tired now, I think I will settle down for a long nap.

Oh Christmas Tree… Oh Christmas Tr.. what the heck is that?
Every year I enjoy laying under the Christmas tree and looking up at the lights and playing witht the low hanging Christmas ornaments.
When I was younger, I was known to climb up and sit on the branches about half way up the tree. But not this year.
Not this year because the big tree didn’t arrive.
Not this year because instead of having the big tree with all the colourful decorations we have this:
“Mommy” brought this home one day in a box and “The Boy” and “The Girl” instantly fell in love with it.
“Daddy” described it as “interesting”. He said that they would put it up on the other side of the room from where the “Real” Christmas tree was going to go.
But “The Boy” and “The Girl” wanted this Christmas sappling to be their Christmas tree this year. And after “Mommy” and “Daddy” talked it over they agreed that this would be our tree this year.
Although I wasn’t happy with the decision at first, I have to admit that this little tree has grown on me.
The thought of keeping Christmas a little simpler this year and focusing on what is really important is appealing.
Remembering what The Grinch learned in the movie “The Grinch Who Stole Christmas” that Christmas doesn’t come in boxes or bags and that it is about enjoying time with your people and celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. That is what counts!
So this year we are “Keeping it real” as the kids say and enjoying each other and Christmas around our little tree.
Meowy Christmas everyone!!!

How I Help “My People” when they are Sick
Many times during the winter, I find myself, “On duty” because one of “My People” become sick.
This time it was “The Boy”.
Just after lunch time yesterday, “Daddy” received a phone call and then got his boots and coat on and left. About 10 minutes later he came back with “The Boy”.
Apparently “The Boy” was feeling ill with a tummy ache.
After several trips to his litter box that makes a flushing sound, he felt a little better.
The tummy ache came back everytime after he ate.
It was getting close to bed time when I went to work.
First I jumped up onto his bed while he was in the room with his litter box. Then I layed down and warmed up the spot where I knew he would be laying.
When he entered the room and crawled into be , he was making a groaning noise and talking in a whinny voice.
Then after being patient as he got adjusted (including lifting me onto the outside of the covers), I curled up close to him and let him pet me. I know he likes this, especially when he is feeling sick. I even started purring to help him feel better. (O.K. I couldn’t help myself because the petting felt good for me too.)
This helped calm him down, so he could drift off to sleep. After I knew he was asleep, I got up and went on to my next bedtime assignment. But I also spent most of the night with “The Boy” to make sure he was O.K.
It must have worked because he woke up looking rested (I can tell when one of my people is rested, because they have their hair sticking out on the back of their head.)
Then he went back to school this afternoon, so I think he is feeling much better.
